Tusculum Farm Cottagecore Styled Wedding

Emma & Michael

When my friend, Sarah, asked if I'd like like to plan and photograph a wedding she styled, I didn't know it would quickly become one of my favorite styled weddings! Tusculum Farm, in Gaithersburg, MD, graciously hosted us,  and we had a few of my favorite wedding vendors with us like Eaarthbones Jewelry, Yarrow Floral Co, and Honeywood Rentals

We had beautiful vendors planned and awesome photographers ready to photograph, but just one problem...torrential downpour was scheduled for the whole day. We covered the rentals and hid out in the bridal cottage suite (adorable by the way), crossing our fingers we would get a break In the clouds. By the middle of the day, the sky finally broke, and what was left was the more beautiful light defused by the thin clouds and magical fog covering the wedding table.

We started the day with our beautiful bride, Emma, and bridesmaids, KC, Aliyah, and Sadie, wearing Sister Jane and Smith and Quinn gowns and Eaarthbones Jewelry, their make-up by 2 Good 2 Glow Beauty and make-up by Kellee Kay Beauty. We played in the wild flowers, walked through the gardens, and played with the alpacas! Truly, a magical location and afternoon!

Once the groom, Michael, arrived, the whimsical magic turned seriously romantic in a total Jane Austin kind of way! In his gray suit and baby pink tie, he complimented Emma's soft look so beautifully! Emma and Michael exchanged vows under a simple arch and then played in the flowers together the rest of the day. My favorite photos are of them cuddled together at the sweetheart table. You could just feel their giddy, young love!

We ended the afternoon with a beautiful cake cutting, filled with butterflies, and a first dance, jus the two of them.

Sometimes escaping to a beautiful, magical farm with horses, alpacas, and wildflowers can be the best way to tie the knot with your person!
